The article deals with the system of nominations of “fairies” as one of the most important constituents of the nominative field of the mythological concept under analysis. Regular nominations and nonce-words in aggregate reveal cognitive attributes of the concept «fairy» reflecting the national mythological consciousness peculiarities.
